IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  1. All drivers (PCV drivers that passed their driving test before the 10 Sept 2008, and HGV drivers before the 10 Sept 2009) must undertake 35 hours of periodic training every five years. So, professional drivers have until the 10 Sept 2013 (PCV) or 10 Sept 2014 (HGV) to take 35 hours of periodic training. Failure to meet this deadline will mean that drivers will not legally be able to professionlly drive lorries over 3,500 Kgs or passenger carrying vehicles with 9 or more seats.
  2. Only approved courses taken with approved training centres will count towards periodic training. Transport Consultants Limited is an approved training centre.
  3. To register for this course you must have (and be able to produce) a UK British Driving Licence and have acquired rights. (All HGV drivers who passed their test before 10 Sept 2009 or PCV drivers that passed their driving test before the 10 Sept 2008 have acquired rights). Or, if you do not have acquired rights, you must hold an initial Driver CPC. Please note: Non-UK licence holders do NOT qualify and must obtain their training in the Member State where they hold their driving licence unless they have a DVLA UK counterpart.
